No, Dr. Seuss was not cancelled. There are hundreds of Dr. Seuss books that are still being published. The company that runs the Seuss name stopped publishing SIX books which were problematic because of racist depictions.

Yes, WB shit the bed by removing Pepe le Pew, and Lola's redesign is controversial. Nobody gets hurt by them being what they were, but "cancel culture" is not a thing, unless you include all of it, like the attempts to cancel D&D, to cancel Magic; The Gathering, to ban Mortal Kombat, to censor books like To Kill A Mockingbird, to say that "the cancel culture is coming" is entirely fucking political, and this is not a political site.

lets list Bugs Bunny's offense's - cross dressing to seduce, lying, manipulation, impersonating a person of authority (game warden, police officer, ect.) attempted murder. burying animal/person alive, counterfeiting (hunting signs or hunting permits), breaking out of jail and that just the tip of iceberg.

Well apparently the company and family didn't agree. Some of Dr.Seuss's old books had racist stereotyping in them. Dr.Seuss is NOT canceled, but the select books just won't be printed anymore.
Its the same thing with the Mr.Potatohead nonsense. Wasn't canceled. The company just had a name change to reflect the fact they have more than a Mr now.
