There's 2 possibilities I can see here in what Serah's talkijg about with the "I don't want to lose you too" thing. Either she's talking about their mother, who is MIA and we have no idea whether she's even alive. Or she's talking about how their father is a drunkard waste of a man that has seemed to stop caring about either Serah or Sebastien, as far as she can tell. Morrisa's texts earlier must have really gotten to her. I think Serah's talking about their mother but we'll have to see now this plays out.

However it's pretty clear that Serah's scared of their relationships going too far, not because she doesn't want it to go far, but because she's scared of the world's reaction and how that will effect both her and Sebastien.

Yeah my gut feeling is she’s referring to their mom. I have to say Black-Kitten has really become a serious comic artist and story teller. We’re just roped into these two...

Ok so I’ve thought about this for while and came to a conclusion, I’ve seen one guy/gal say something about a miscarriage, tho I find that extremely unlikely within 4 days, and others saying it their mother, which I believe to be true but, it seems like people are forgetting that Serah doesn’t exactly have a very good relationship with their dad either, she talked shit about him when he wasn’t around and he wouldn’t let her drink her coffee despite her making breakfast, that’s all we really have to go off for they’re relationship really and I feel as though that’s intentional, because they don’t really have a relationship, so to Serah, Sebastien is all she has, sure Marissa is there but we’ve seen them together a totally of 2 occasions in this series and one of those times is in an image in the tree house

The point I’m trying to make is Serah, like most people her age, feels alone and Sebastien is the only person who’s been with her for her whole life, hell before she was even born, he was there. When she hit puberty, he was there. When she had her first crush, he was there. When they lost their mom in whatever way they did, he was there.

To me this hasn’t been about the sex or the incest or anything like that, it’s just been about the love that these two share whether that be as Siblings or as lovers

This is definitely not a series of recent pages that I think anyone was expecting. If anything I respect BK for at the very least attempting to add conflict/serious scenes to keep the story relevant and interesting.

Very good points all way around. Their facial expressions, and especially Serah’s, confirm to me that they are deeply in love with each other; particularly by what you’re saying about Seb being there.

During our collective discussion one thought in relation to the mother crossed my mind: what if the photo Serah’s pulled off the tree house wall was of them and their mom?

And what if, ... what if this picnic/date was also the date mom left?

That would hit hard for anyone. I fully believe Seb’s gonna break down next (it takes us guy’s a little longer).

Could not agree more, perhaps she even helped make the treehouse? It would explain why it’s not just a picture of her at home, if it was just a random picture of her it probably wouldn’t set off the same reaction, especially if it was a picture of them the day they all finished building it

And Yeah Seb will most likely break down as well and the only reason he probably hasn’t yet is because we as males are WAY less perceptive than females, not less empathetic just takes us long to realize the severity of a situation

Seeing those pained tears in Serah's eyes, I have come to the realization that I care more for the happiness of these two than I do for some real life people.

And, you know what? I'm ok with that.

I'm very, very excited about the pages to come, because the plot really seems to be building up to their first actual "I love you" moment.

I feel this might relate back to the picture Serah pulled off the wall.
