Yes the switch screen has touch capabilities, only a few games use it, I only can name "layton's mystery journey" (and the switch menu itself)

(edit: not sure if this applies to the switch lite)

So only the screen ? The fact it's nearly never used don't surprise me as you need to put in portable mode to use it.
I'm pretty sure Nintendo will delete it in their next console and we will never see petting mechanics in a Pokemon game ever again (unless Nintendo release a new Handheld but I really doubt it).

Braixen is soo cute one of my favorite starters it kinda sucks that gamefreak gotten rid of petting pokemon l kinda miss it since Pokemon sun and moon

Guy,I agree with you.I feel disappointed because in the game of 8th generation that some past pokemons doesn't being join in.

Other games that use the touch screen include Plague Inc, the Ace Attorney Trilogy 51 Worldwide Games and I think Dr. Kawashima Brain Training, but that's about it.
