That Kind of Girl
I'M THE KIND OF GIRL YOUR PARENTS WARNED YOU ABOUT!
He shuffled on past the shop window, glancing only momentarily at the T-Shirt's slogan. Stark, white text on simple black, all the flash it needed contained in those word - and what words! Gracious...!
The Lucario slipped out of the way of a few of the pedestrians, ducking behind a tree and waiting for them to go by before continuing - it's okay, they were using the sidewalk too, and they were bigger than him after all. Their chattering faded to the distance as he continued down the road, reading off the signs as he went.
Why... why would anyone want to wear that kind of shirt, anyway? Was being that 'kind of girl' something that some people were proud of?
He found the right street. Something hit his chest - he realised it was his heart, thumping away. He swallowed, reading the numbers now, focusing intently on them and not on how he was almost stumbling from shaking.

The door opened, and a kindly woman poked her head around the door. A pause, a laugh, a light babble of human words - he barely flicked his gaze at her, a smile on his muzzle as he grasped his paws behind his back.
"You're here to see my girl, aren't you? Oh, you're so sweet!"
He nodded. He grasped his paws tighter behind his back, his tail wrapping itself slowly around one of his legs.
No - this lady was right. He was sweet. He was a good boy.
"Your owner told me you were coming. Oh, you two are going to get along so well...!"
The door opened fully, and he stared inside. For a moment, nothing happened - and suddenly, what had at first been merely a set of dark shadows at the end of a hallway revealed two deep, piercing, scarlet eyes.
He w-was a good boy!
The darkness split again, this time showing a gleaming row of diamond fangs. They glistened with saliva. A growl, too low for human hearing, made his ears tremble - and in that guttural, feral vibration, there was an unspoken meaning;
Oh - you WILL be...
