I get annoyed by all the comments like "OMG you don't want to have sex with her, she's got syphilis!"

Syphilis is curable with simple medicine. It isn't like a hundred years ago where it was a death sentence.

although when not caught early it does some really nasty things to your body
the organ damage is quite scary and frontal lobe dementia is terrible
thankfully, though, modern medicine does a remarkable job at treating it

Too bad so many people not using a condom and abusing pills has resulted in new strains of med-resistant syphilis that will kill you dead just like in the old days

Syphilis is a bacterial infection, not a viral infection
