I think Alphonse lying to Richard about meeting someone else is a really bad idea. Wouldn't Richard want to know who it is? After all, they're in the same class (classes? I don't remember) together. He'd want to know eventually unless Alphonse decides to avoid Richard altogether. I think telling him the truth would be the best in this situation.

I honestly don't like Jill here. The way she talks about all this so casually doesn't sit right with me and it seems like she's acting entitled. Like she believes it's obvious that Richard will choose her and is just trying to get Al to leave. I also don't like that she's encouraging Al to lie and not even bother to ask Richard what he thinks about all this.

i forgot about the existence of this comic and now it gave me a emotional train wreck

I don't really blame Jill for acting entitled if what she said was accurate. If they have agreed to an open relationship and satisfy their sexual needs outside of it when they deem it necessary she has every right to feel threatened when one of Richards flings gets too serious because he forgot to mention anything to them.
That said I don't know if I believe her. I'd assume you would tell your boyfriend to break it off with the other party in this situation, not ask the other party in secret to break it off with a lie.

Frankly, if my partner told someone else she wasn't with someone before she did anything, I'd be livid. That's basically lying, and that is a no tolerance thing for me. It's fine if you wanna have fun, it's just sex, but leading someone on is a fucking horrible thing to do, and I will have nothing to do with anyone who does that.

But Richard just keeps letting dudes fall in love with him by “forgetting” to mention his open relationship? Either one or both of Jill and Richard are toxic, or something just doesn’t really make sense with how this unfolded, doesn’t feel organic

c'mon, pull a twist. please. make richard fall in love with alphonse too, or whatever you need to do to give us a happy ending. please.

Somehow I saw this coming

calling this now, jill is richards crazy ex, (hence the gps tracking comment) and she believes that richard is hers. richard wants to be with alphonse (anyone other than her) but in richards attempt to put jill off by telling her about all the gay sex hes having(why else would he be so open about his sex life?), she doesn't care. she panics about "losing" richard, even though richard kept telling her no, and she confronts alphonse by lying that he doesnt really care about him, and for now alphonse may believe jill. hopefully, richard will try to make him believe him about his crazy ex, and they get back together, then they will both have a common enemy, then BAM: main villain of this comic series is born!

Well, I was enjoying this comic. About 10 pages ago..

I hope this doesn't turn into one of those scenarios where the reason Richard didn't actually say anything is because he is afraid of being called out by his frat buddies for liking dudes. After all, I dont recall seeing him putting on such openly amorous displays with Al compared to what he was doing in the theatre with Jill.
Its such a stupid stereotype,too cool for school idiot jock guy is romantically into another dude but is afraid of being judged by his peers.

Yo, Rex is an a-hole for putting Alpha in this situation. And Jill isnt making it any better by confronting the wrong person about it. Alphonse is ALREADY in therapy bruh... T.T
