The life of a mages adventurer was never dull. Sherri may have been fairly young to have taken on the role of ‘protector’ of a small village, one that had paid its share of gold, treasures, and a few amenities to satisfy the canine caster’s enjoyment of the finer things in exchange for the times she had to act as guardian. Normally it was fairly inane, sometimes she was called to settle a dispute that only her magics could facilitate, another time she was sent to handle an issue of marauding bandits. Funny enough the stolen livestock were returned and there happened to be a suspicious addition of healthy cows that were added to the farmer’s herd.

But when it came to a dragon, Sherri was certainly more hesitant than usual. Bandits and manipulating the flows of magic to provide protective barriers around the sunny village that lay inland off of the nearest coast was one thing, but dragons. Well.. Sherri highly doubted it was a dragon. At least until she followed the trail of fiery energies that flickered into the cave dwelling.

Sitting ever so proudly atop of a heap of gold was a creature that frankly surprised Sherri, she’d seen quite a manner of critters around the world both large and small, however in front of her was a dragon that seemed almost as canine as he was draconic. Scales and fur blended upon his form, the inside of his canine ears traced with glimmering blue scales that matched the coat upon his chest, surrounded by gray fluff and fur that lined the sides of his clearly masculine form. He was particularly giant as well, Sherri glanced at him and saw his massive musculature and how he barely fit upon the hoard of gold that he lay in.

“Excuse me.” Sherri said calmly to try and catch the attention of the dragondog that was currently eyeing coins of gold that he could barely make out the shape of within the grasp of his massive pawlm. “Yoohoo!”
