Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

Description

I asked some people on FA if they wanted to be drawn as hostages in Leona's world, and then I drew this as an example because I wasn't sure if "hostages" was the right word to use.

Mini story

Leona continues her journey to find a cure for her curse. One day, she came to a sudden stop. She looked around herself. Something had changed, but she wasn't sure what. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Slowly, she opened her eyes, bracing herself for anything.

...

Nothing. The road she was travelling on hadn't changed. No one appeared before her. Leona sighed. My mind must be playing tricks on me, she thought.

"No, Sister," a voice echoed in her head. It sounded the exact same as hers, but it had a sultry tone. "Do not ignore your suspiscions."

She felt a hand on her shoulder. "YOU!" She jerked around in the direction the hand came from, sword drawn. No one was there. "I will be rid of you yet," she growled.

Leona sheathed her blade, but she couldn't bring herself to turn around. Something about the path her other side pointed out was calling to her. After some thought, she relented, and began walking, slowly developing a familiar sense of unease that she hand't felt in two years.

She moved in as straight a line as the forested path would allow, finally emerging in front of a small town. Something about this town felt strange. She wasn't sure at first, but now she was certain. The air around her had been changing ever since she stopped earlier, and now her senses were telling her that this town--or something nearby--was the cause of her uneasiness. Clenching her sword, she made her approach.

Leona cautiously looked around. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, save for some commotion in the nearby tavern. Possibly some sort of celebration, she thought. "Perhaps a drink will help calm my nerves." As she made her way closer, the commotion grew louder. She stopped at the door handle.

Something wasn't right.

She couldn't make out any specific words through all the noise. she crept under the window closest to the door and peered inside. The glass was clouded, but she could just barely see silhouettes of large moving figures in green hoods. Bandits? Leona had heard that there was a group of pig bandits making their way through the land. She tried to look closer. Everyone inside was wearing a green cloak, and nothing more. Everyone was drinking and eating, crowded around a table. The two men in the center were so large that they blocked Leona's sight. It was only when they stood up and left that she could see a canine woman tied to the table, clothes torn to shreds and legs spread wide. She looked like she had been "entertaining" her patrons for quite some time, as two more men took the place of the previous two, wasting no time filling her mouth and nethers.

Leona had seen enough. She kicked open the door and stomped into the tavern. "That's enough," she shouted. "Release that woman at once!"

The pigs all looked at her confused. They all had the same glazed expression, and the entire building reeked of alcohol.

Leona shook her head. "You drunken fools. I will not repeat myself again. Untie her before-"

She was cut off by the sound of the door closing behind her.

"Boys!" A voice boomed louder than hers. "Fresh meat!"
