See, this confuses me, because Will has been humiliated pretty much since the very first story? It's a pretty critical and consistent kink? Alex was always the one pushing him out of his comfort zone, embarassing him, getting them nearly caught in public. Hell, the story where Alex bangs him up the ass is pretty much this exact storyline only it didnt feature dad and it wasn't a dream.

I don't get why people are suddenly uncomfortable by the incest, humiliation, and noncon here, but not the incest, humiliation and noncon that was shown when Will forced himself on Alex, and Alex forced himself on Will. I've been thinking about this a bunch, why I'm not particularly keen on it myself and trying to consider why other folks are/aren't into it, and one theory I have is the way that it's presented. For a start, there's a pretty notable difference in the power dynamic between two brothers separated by a few years, and the dynamic between a father and his sons separated by an entire lifetime. An actual adult having sex with his two underaged kids.

Not just the age thing, but the father has a level of unspoken domination or power over the two that doesn't exist between the brothers to the same degree - "I'm the dad, you'll have to do what I say because you're my sons, and I'm older, bigger, stronger, wiser, more experienced" etc. And it's possible that domination would be too inherently uncomfortable for some folks, for any number of reasons.

But it's also the way Harold has been portrayed from his introduction in this comic; the way he suddenly imposes himself on Will without really asking, the fact that he had sex with Will constantly when the latter was so young he didn't even remember any of it until this comic, the way these trigger repressed memories and emotional responses tied to those memories. Even just how he suddenly takes charge in banging Alex all of a sudden. There's a level of intensity that isn't really seen in the other comics, and that intensity can be really off-putting.

For whatever it's worth, I can also see how these above details would make for a really appealing comic in this series; there's nothing as intense in this specific way, nothing triggering these exact emotions or ideas. And if that's why you (the reader in general) really enjoy this comic, I totally get it.

But it's not for me, and I'm kinda with the folks who don't like it. Whether or not the supposedly spoiled plot development discussed in previous pages is actually a thing, it's way too intense and mean (for lack of a better term) for me.

I hope that explains it well enough, for both the folks who don't like the direction of this issue and for the folks that do like it.

Might've worked better if it turned out the dad was just as submissive as Alex. The entire thing was more or less small_dom_big_sub prior to this, and the dad being even more dominant inverts that dynamic that prior readers came to this series to see.
