News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

    This. ^ Nora created Stoneward, giving him a semblance of free will and a personality because even at the height of his power Trace could not do that, Nora's magic is on a completely different level. Trace on the other hand created the others who served the sole purpose of protecting the estate. They dont have that "spark of life" as trace put it.

    As for Rose, i'm pretty sure she's ready to move on like i said. It would be cruel to keep her trapped like this. Sooner or later they're going to have to let her go and be at peace. And to be honest, with Clovis on the horizon with the power of Reni behind him, maybe that's not too far out of the question.

    I'd like to have hope for rose because it reminds me of what Ross from ross's gaming dungeon said. Specifically he quoted a kind of cryostasis of a science fiction movie where your body is frozen with your conscience still active. This whole time rose could be physically unaged the entire time but her mind however has aged. It was the magical equivalent of that version of cryogenic Stasis.

    Besides being a hopeless optimist I also like to go into the obscure science fiction references.

    Also apologies for not finding the specific video or the movie ross used. I'm having trouble finding it.

    Actually Trace waited until it was time for Rose to nearly pass away. So if she left the crystal, she wouldn't have long until she died. Actually now that i see it she does have some unfinished business in the way of Euchre and especially Raine however. Maybe they'll keep her around for a time longer.

    It's possible that Trace and Reni COULD reconstruct Stoney. Maybe not perfectly, but it's possible they could reassemble and revive that spark (Reni probably can't create wholesale, but possibly could essentially rekindle what's there)
