Description

Hopefully I won't notice a ton of mistakes five seconds after I upload this one.

This is an edit of a boss from the game Octopath Traveler on the Switch. Sadly, he doesn't seem to have a name, but he looks absolutely rad.
It's been a while since I've seen a well made western style draco in any official material. Most movies and games seem to have shifted toward the more bat-like wyvern dragons this past decade or two.

All I did was polish up on the game model (around the chest region mostly), added the wing bounces, and gave him junk.

  • Heyyyy, very nice edit! Honestly, the size of the junk compared to the dragon itself looks so natural I wouldn't be surprised if I'd seen it in the game itself.

    Thanks ^_^
That was definitely what I was going for.

I loved the original model from the game instantly; however, it just seemed to be missing something for my own personal tastes (always loved tasteful nudity in my art).
The wings not bobbing like the rest of the body was a bit too noticeable for my liking as well. It was good practice for me, studying how they created the illusion of a fully animated body from a single still image.
    Very creative of them.

Thanks again and have a good weekend!
