Hiccup is startled, but not as terrified as Astrid and is more excited/curious if anything else. Off-screen, Astrid berates him, but starts finding him more attractive as well.

The state he's in could probably similar to Astrid's, but it's up to you. Also up to you on whether he grows his left leg back or not."
