I really like the atmosphere here! The bones in the background play an important role, too, which is easy to overlook – they make you wonder what has happened to these people who have been here before you.

Side note, the background ambiance sounds remind me a lot of Quake, for some reason. I guess that is to be expected, as both are supposed to instill some sense of dread and desolation. :p

If i remember right, they're silicon based lifeforms, so my guess is it's probably like super warm ky jelly or silicon based lube, with some aphrodisiac effects that way their "prey" remains hard for the breeding.
