  • I don't know what everyone is saying, it doesn't lag at all for me. Then again, I use my computer for rendering 3d animations, video editing, and running just about every PC game on the highest settings...

And as a bit of a further note, it makes Flash eat up 50% of my CPU's capacity.

Well if it doing that then ya, that is a decent flag reason

  • Works fine for me, doesn't really do anything to my computer's performance or flash or anything. Maybe it's your 'potato attached to a bit of silicon' computer?

  • corgi bread) My computer's not the best thing around - it's a dual-core 2.4GHz Pentium - but a flash should still not be lagging your browser to the point it thinks flash has crashed and making the plugin take up half your CPU capacity.

My PC can handle all of those things, since this is a rig dedicated to rendering 3D animations as well, yet I also like like fuck when I reach the end despite expecting not to. Perhaps it has to do with some other variable like Flash version or browser used?

  • The framerate is okay at the start for me, but about half way through it becomes too much and the fps goes down to about 1 - 0.5 fps near the end.

  • It works without lag until i right-click the flash.

The flag for deletion was unnecessary. It's not the files fault that the browser/computer can't handle it.

Of course it is the author of the flash file's fault. They made a badly optimized flash without testing it on more than one machine and people have to suffer it lagging or crashing their plugin and/or browser as a result. This would be like if I made a poorly optimized video game with bad graphics and then blamed people for having computers unable to run it when it was my fault.

  • It has nothing to do with peoples computers... My computer is a monster, 3.0 Quadcore processor, powerful as anything video Card, 8 Gigs of DDR 3 memory... NOTHING has given me lag issues like this with Flash ever, let alone most POWERFUL Graphics, such as games and the like... It's the Flash, it's badly Optimized... And it can be a problem for some systems... Also, I'm running Windows 7 64bit on top of it all...

    That's a monster? Maybe 2 years ago...
Also, I didn't have any lag either. But I run a high-end gaming/3D rendering machine, so I guess that's the reason.

  • Actually, the first time I opened this page, it lag my browser to high hell, and I was using my laptop capable of playing games at medium settings. But just now my second time attempting this, my computer isn't lagging one bit. That's strange.

Fire Fox - no lags! Also nice animation.

I'm using Firefox (it's my primary browser). It lags my browser and makes it think Flash has frozen.

I have the same issues with it when I try to view it in IE, so I'm inclined to say it's the file's issue (given that it also makes the Flash plugin take up half my processor's capacity) as opposed to my rig.

  • Weird. It basically lagged so hard it froze, while the music played and the image was static. Then, the song ended, and the video continued silently with no lag whatsoever.

Maybe it's the music doing it? Whatever.

This isn't furry, anyway. It's nekomimi; that shouldn't count if you ask me.

  • Yeah almost crashed Puffin it really lagged at the end, as warned, but what is incredible was the sound stopped! Now for most there like, " So what?" Well I'll put it this way: Puffin ALWAYS plays the sound over the video, so if the video freezes the sound continues, I have never found a flash that the video kept going and the sound stopped. Congrats creator you have given me a real first here. Also, can't imagine the lag I would've had on my PC seeing as my iPad is the fastest device I have. Reason i point this out:

Yeah well, this may be shocking to you but most people don't even have close to the specs I do at the moment, a lot of people, and I do mean a lot, have less than powerful machines that would have been considered powerful 6 years ago... we make due... And this machine is two years old... Oddly, it still holds up 100% to any games that have come out today, as I can run any powerful game I've gotten thus far at 100% and then some. It's powerful for what I need it to be, not all of us render 3D graphics... Or have thousands to spend... so get off the snarky attitude.

  • Good news, everyone! Some kind anon on 4chan's /f/ board is currently working on a fix for this flash.

Apparently, the action script for it restarts the timeline after every single frame. Basically, it tries to restart the flash until resources are choked.

Unfortunately, this means the anon has to rewrite the action script, and redo some of the flash.
