April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.
For some further information on what the bill does have a look at https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2586/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

MemberWhile I like the idea of tgirl zhali very much, the character is a herm/dickgirl

Greens
MemberOkay? A character not having both sets doesn't make them trans. I recently read zhali's fa page and she explicitly labels her character (in that page at least) as a herm. Trans is a lore tag, so I don't see how it's appropriate if that lore is absent and there's nothing visible to suggest that the character is trans like scars or such.
If we're tagging every "dickgirl" as trans, then that makes the tag utterly pointless because it doesn't convey the extra detail/background information implicitly suggested by the tag.
Again, "trans (lore)" is NOT a tag to describe visually what genitals the character does or does not have, because then it could not be used on post-op trans people, who have of course had their male genitals removed/modified, such as this character: https://e621.net/posts/3363369?q=trans_%28lore%29+dilator

BlockedLore tags are exempt from TWYS, lore tags instead require external information. Is this character is trans in-universe? If so, all the posts tagged zhali must have it, but I'd want confirmation with a link from the OC owner first.
Greens
MemberSo far as I'm aware, no. Zhali's page explicitly labels them as a "herm" and also references the mythological and magical hermaphrodites that act as fertility symbols, which inspired the char. Unsurprising, zhali has been depicted as a "true" herm numerous times. I'm fairly confident I'm in the right on this one.

MemberYou can't "see" lore.
And I also see nothing that indicates that this character is trans. Dickgirl/futa=/=trans.
WeRideAtDawn
MemberRight on the first part, wrong on the "every single post with a character must have the lore tag" part. Policy says that it's on a per-image basis, only to be added if TWYS can't tag a character's gender or age properly, and if an established character is changed by an artist for whatever reason, the artist's change overrides canon.
That being said, lore tags also goes by the word of the character owner, assuming the artist doesn't contradict it. Per TWYS, herm wouldn't apply to this post since it requires the penis and pussy to be visible. In lore, however, the reference sheet for Zhali do indeed say that she's a herm. As such, the herm_(lore) tag can be safely applied to this post.
