Is it perhaps because someone is not being particularly imaginatively raped, abused, or murdered here - but this story could happen just like that? Does the much-invoked artistic freedom perhaps end for most people where it touches their own guilty conscience?

I put this question into the room.
Everyone can think about why he can passionately spend hours on imaginative murder and rape. But immediately gets high blood pressure when a former junkie is enslaved and beaten.

I suppose it all comes down to one's own threshold. Some may like to take their kinks to a further point than others. The reasons for why a person has their threshold where it is, is practically endless. In the end it all comes down to life experiences. This type of thing isn't for me either, but it may very well be a thing for others.

I find it strange thar misogyny is a kink thatbalot of people absolutely despise, but misandry, even when real, is seen as no big deal. Sure historical trends have made misogyny worse, but if you base your entertainment interests solely on ideologically historicity balanced with your rational views, at least be consistent. I will guarantee most people who are "stumbling" across these comics consume violent and sexually obscene material (its posted to a furry porn site after all).

Id bet a decent portion of the hate comes from the art style of the artist. Which is distinctly simple and grimey, and would likely appear ugly to people who are used to the ultrasmooth/rubberized fetish porn that lots of artists are into right now. I for one really liked this style because it reminded me of the stuff i saw when getting into the fandom.

Good luck out there artist, this was a unique and enjoyable comic for me.

thanks! i'm wouldn't call myself an artist, more so just someone who wants to tell a kinky story. so i make due with what i am able to draw even if it's not that professional. i've explained this before but the whole misogyny kink really stems from hyper masculinity or maledom/male domination.

Tell that to those who made the artist hide his art behind Patreon with their hatred (and probably threats).
Sometimes it helps to read at least one paragraph to know that I defended the artist.
