Description
CW: Living plushie
TL;DR: Duragon had a wife named Molly, who passed away mere days after they got married.
One day, he heard noise at his attic and in his collection of trans-dimensional stuff he suddenly found the soul of his deceased wife inside the Primarina plush he made for her.

As an apology for forcing his son into a role of godhood he never wanted, Gaia went her way to rebuild Molly's soul from the waters of life. Sadly, not even Gaia can re-fuse a body with a soul, so she had to improvise. She could feel a lot of Duragon's love in that plush so Gaia made it into a makeshift storage for her soul while her son finds a way to further manipulate the fabric of existence beyond any god's power. This could also be a good motivation for him to not to give up on his role as the god of gods. So he could fully bring Molly back.
An unexpected effect of the plush being infused with Molly's soul was that the plush grew many times its size, barely fitting Duragon's attic. The soul fused a little too perfectly with the plush, making a lot of alterations to its design as well. Duragon at first thought it was one of those trans-dimensional things making noise or tearing itself apart of this existence again. So he went on to check, just to hear his former wife's voice suddenly asking for help as she didn't understand what was going on and was stuck.
He couldn't believe his eyes. The plush he made for her BECAME her.
As soon as they locked eyes, they both started crying.
She was back. Her body no longer weak due to heavy illness. Even if she's temporarily stuck in a plush, she's happy pain is no longer's part of her life and that she's lucky enough to see her husband again. Apparently, just before she infused the plush with her soul, Gaia explained to Molly the new life Duragon lives with his many wives, but that he still has her in his heart, and he still loves her deeply.
She didn't concern herself with the details on how his husband lived his life now. She was sure he still loved her deeply. She felt the love he feels for all of his wives as well. And she was happy if he gave her a chance of being part of his new life. Which, obviously, he did.
