Ego sum mortis memoria
Heavily inspired by Netflix's The Punisher, specifically the scene in which Frank Castle brutally murders William Rawlins AKA Agent Orange.
Jack had at last escaped his captors' bonds. They had taken his family, his home, his livelihood, and he was not going to lie down and let it all happen. He would right the wrongs of the world, one dead body at a time.
They said he was a dead man, and his body just didn't know it. "No," he told them. "Ergo sum mortis memoria. I am a reminder of death."
