Tabuley puts out monthly animations so he has something for Patreon supporters. That's how he's able to continue making work, even if it does mean it comes out slowly. So yeah, he is milking it... for like, money or whatever. Can't make art if he can't pay the bills.

There was a long pause between animation updates because tabuley had a family member pass away. I might be misremembering but I believe it was their father. So a sudden loss in desire to create and a break should be easily forgivable.
