News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

    un forastero means "a stranger". if the game had english voices the line would be more like "i see a stranger" or something like that.
    agarrenlo mean "catch/get/grab him". grab him sounds more accurate because agarrar means to grab something.

    in spanish its posible to make very short sentences. i see a stranger translates to "veo un forastero" but its possible to skip veo entirely. in fact, saying it like that make you sound a lot more like a non native.

    at no point they try to defend themselves. they really are more like zombies in the sense they don't care about their physical integrity.

    more roughly translated phrases

    te voy a hacer picadillo = i'll turn you into minced meat
    detras de ti, imbecil = behind you imbecile
    te voy a matar = i'm going to kill you
    cogedlo = (exctly the same same as agarrenlo but can be understood as fuck him depending on which spanish its being translated to. the funni)
    ahi esta = there he is
    te voy a romper a pedazos = i'll cut you to pieces
    no dejen que se escape = don't let him escape
    if there's more i forgot
