News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

    I'm very glad this is finally out.

    I've liked scratch21 for a decent amount of time, and while I can't really say they're one of my favorite bands, they always have a very fun energy to them. In particular I enjoy Matt's vocals and Riley's drumming, which, while not very novel in a literal sense, are always enjoyable to listen to.

    I was excited for this song since seeing the preview videos posted by the band on their twitter. Now, I don't own a twitter, but my good friend Ayen does, and he's been showing me previews ever since around february of 2023. The animation looked lovely, especially given it was being made by Mike of Piemations, and I loved how expressively each member was being shown. Now that it's out, yeah, it's far exceeded my expectations. I love the little gags from Cooper, "Pretzel" being concerned and his funny little cock mug, Riley K Crompton's expressions, including her eyebrow movements, and especially Matt. His chaotic energy has been captured perfectly here, and I love how cartoonish some of his crazier expressions feel.

    I dunno what to say, I'm elated. Happy this came out, especially today on April Fools day. I want more stuff like this please.

    I think the thing I like best about this video is the evident lack of enthusiasm. Somehow, it manages to make this one of the better videos I've seen of its kind.

    Based on how they describe them, I'm guessing the "balls" they're referring to are dances.
