The Republic of the Winter isn't exactly merciful with its prisoners of war, even if it is one of the best factions to be prisoners to on the Rim Worlds. The RotW, directed by the Protogen Emperor Athlon X1950 XTX uses latex technology to permanently bind slaves to a life of pent up, horny servitude in slick latex suits. Normally, prisoners are sent off to the mines and workshops deep in the mountain home to dig away at the slate and mine up the mountain's rich veins of copper and iron to be processed into components and steel or simply used directly. Besides mining, slaves are responsible for working away in the textile sweatshops to process cotton, linen, devilstrand, tobacco, and hemp into fabrics, joints, and cigarettes as well as cutting stone into blocks. They never even get to perform skilled labors such as seeing the textiles they slave away in stuffy rubber suits being made into clothes. The days whizz by and the only times they are allowed out of the prison is to be used to pleasure the other colonists.

However, the Republic has gotten itself into a war with its former friends at the Xeduene Nation after Xeduene had halted trade with the Republic by raiding caravans sent from the Gord Hegemony to the Republic. Despite not directly belonging to the Republic, it was seen as an act of aggression and a brutal campaign to pacify the nearby tribal villages, forts, and towns left the Republic with many losses and many prisoners. It just so happens that the restaurant staff were rendered dead or bedridden from the conflict and the Republic with a surplus of prisoners. In true RotW style, the solution was to enslave some of the captives, permanently encase them in rubber suits to sexually pleasure and serve the denizens of the colony, travelers, traders, and tourists to solve the issue.

In order to provide accommodation for the kitchen slaves outside of the prison, the old jerky smoker was converted into a holding pen where the slaves are sealed in latex bags and hung up. The smoker's heater is then turned on ever so slightly too high to make it uncomfortable and inflict the "Slept in the Heat" negative moodlet on them every night. Having to waddle around in stuffy, thick, well-polished rubber outfits, the slaves must tend to the kitchen and keep it operating. They must prepare delicious gourmet meals they will never eat and provide pleasure they will never feel. You can often feel them longingly rubbing off their bulges or null pussies whenever they can regretting enlisting to become warriors every day. The mouthwatering smell of the food they prepare is mixed with the smell of new tires from their polished rubber suits and hangs in the kitchen. The customers don't seem to mind the smell or the sounds moaning, whining, and sexual desperation emanating from the smiling faces of permanent slaves. If anything, it adds to the experience~
