April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.
For some further information on what the bill does have a look at https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2586/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

BlockedThis goes without saying but please, please do not take anything in a fluffy pony comic about disordered eating or struggles with weight seriously.

MemberWassup with this "trend" characters that show up like 40 post of them per minute?
peacethroughpower
BlockedFluffy ponies? I've been posting them for months now. It's just off and on because it's mostly just me.
CeilingFixing
MemberHaven't noticed because the blacklist has been catching the worst of them, some still slip through though. Been going on for a while I guess.

BlockedAll you have to do is blacklist "fluffy_pony". That'll stop it at the source.

MemberWhat's the point in uploading stuff like this knowing it's gonna get down voted
peacethroughpower
BlockedWhat makes you think getting downvoted is a deterrent?
Fredbear87
MemberOther then opinions do the votes even mean anything, some of the best "stuff" (depending on what your into) have down votes in the hundreds , dose it really matter,
And alot of people like the catharsisem the fluffies bring, there way worse that can pop up in your searches, why is fluffies getting singled out here
CeilingFixing
MemberAnd miss out on GOOD fluffy pony posts? Shit like fluffle puff and the one or two other cute characters? Hell no. I will suffer a post or two slipping through the cracks to see the stuff I still want to see.
CeilingFixing
MemberSome people enjoy it, a majority of downvotes come from people who are to lazy to blacklist or add whatever missing tag let it slip through the blacklist. So long as staff says it passes quality control there isn't anything wrong with it getting uploaded.

BlockedFluffle Puff isn't a fluffy pony, she is a pony who is fluffy. Furthermore, she is off limits. She's not part of our particular brand of degeneracy, she's something else entirely, even if her design did inspire fluffy ponies. If you want to see the hugbox (something I wish there were more of, but I upload what I find), then you'll just need to tolerate the abuse or use a creative blacklist tag.
CeilingFixing
MemberA pony who often was tagged (even if its being misstagged) as fluffy pony, and I already update my blacklist or add a missing tag when needed so no need to remind me of how to use it.
peacethroughpower
BlockedIf incorrect tagging causes something to trip the blacklist, then the problem is the incorrect tagging, not the content or the blacklist. Furthermore, "fluffy_pony fluffle_puff" correctly has zero hits and I've only personally see it have one hit (which I quickly corrected) over months of uploading fluffy pony content.
I direct everyone who complains to my profile and its blacklist instructions. Don't think yourself so special.

MemberFluffy pony stuff is so out of pocket and absurd in it's cruelty that it loops around and becomes funny.
