Awww, she seems so happy with her new body β€” I'm so happy for her!

It's so wholesome. There's a whole new world out there for her to experience. πŸ₯°

  • I'd be in a frenzy of a panic if that would happen to me.
Will I be taken down or tranked? Or left to live in a cage or in a zoo? Is my driver's licence still valid? Am I gonna return back to human? Will I get even bigger later on? What will happen to my diet? Will I be hunted?

Your life would certainly be drastically changed, but having anxiety over it wouldn't help you. Embrace your new experiences and enjoy being different! Life is more fun that way. :3

At least for like a good 2 or 3 days before local law enforcement get calls about a "threat to public safety" and end up having to SWAT you out of necessity for risk of having something like that gaining the motivation to destroy something more than just their pants.

It's not your anxiety that's the problem. It's the anxiety of the bystanders and citizens and families that'll do you in. Fear of the unknown is ever present and all consuming. Even if you made a case for yourself and were successfully released, you would be constantly monitored by government operatives making sure that if you ever act out, lethal action will be taken against you.

THIS IS WHY HUMANITY IS BAD AND FURRIES ARE GREAT.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

I don't know about that last sentence but the rest is accurate. Best case scenario you end up being monitored and studied moreso like a zoo animal if you can make it past the preliminary societal fear stage.

Hot Take: I'd honestly trust some of the fur community less than your average human... Few of em might end up with certain expectations that you may not be ready to meet, if you know what I mean. You, being the only REAL furry... Or scalie, might run into some trouble considering there's plenty of us (not excluding myself) that have been sexualizing furry characters for years and you're the only real one they'll ever meet, most likely, and trust me you'll be a worldwide phenomenon less than a week into your transformation unless the powers that be... The government... Deem it a necessity to keep your existence a secret.

I feel like you forgot the point midway through your explanation there. Also, popularity is not bliss. It's endless servitude under a different name. This is without even mentioning the psychological repercussions of becoming the only thing like this in the entire planet. You'd be completely isolated on a global scale. What joy is there in being a one of a kind creature when you are also simultaneously the last of your kind. The reality and scale of this event is beyond things like pleasure and fame. This would be insanity. Mental insanity for you, the people you knew, the people who deemed such a thing as impossible, the crackpot extremists who think you powers are the work of the devil, the horrified biologists who just had years of research uprooted by your existence, the governments fighting over who gets to study you next, and the horrific realization the about 30% of the world would steal you given the chances.

Personally this would be a nightmare.

However everything I said (minus the loneliness) can be tossed out the window if you can change back and hide these powers for the rest of your life. Then I can see some enjoyment and maybe a super hero gig coming out of this.
