Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

MemberI never thought of it from the animal's perspective. Animals in Disney were always happy to help.

MemberThis feels oddly... realistic. If there is ever a technology to transform living things (or at least swap their minds or bodies), the results will be probably very far from the fairytale ideal.

MemberI mean, it's not exactly rocket science and the tags really don't spoil anything...
What do you mean? Using animals as a basis for any technology would be kind of useless. The future is firmly looking like one of AI drones support more specialized robotics, i.e. a surgery machine performing the main surgery with drones assisting. Actually already exists for brain surgery. I know people are scared about it but that's only because, funnily enough, they realize we live in a cruel world that doesn't care about human suffering. Ideally, the rise of AI and drones would made humans could eventually live full lives of enjoyment without needing to work. Instead, they know it'll simply be used by a few at the top to enrichen themselves until we get to point where the drones can even produce and maintain themselves, at which time the working class becomes redundant and thus pointless. Unless you're a Bezos or Ophrah or Taylor Swift, you'll be left to wallow in misery to die and that'll probably be used for population control since you no longer need a workforce, so the population can remain small and easily controllable.

MemberYeah, it looks that way. On the other hand, The West is not the entire world and as we can observe from current events, Global South will probably have some say in all this. After all, just because person A from country B controls a powerful AI, it doesn't automatically change life of person C in country D. Well, unless the AI turns rogue and unleashes nuclear armageddon, Terminator-style.
In any case, my point was that turning a human into a mouse/dog/horse would probably be a pretty traumatic experience, even if furries (and fairytale writers) think otherwise.

MemberI'm honestly surprised there isn't more Dimension 20 artwork on this site. Considering how long the series has been running, and how this website isn't afraid to dip into human stuff now and again. In all honesty, I'd love to see some stuff from Crown of Candy here!
