Okay after 1 fucking year I have to say that I dig your ending more lol It's much more chaotic and less structured but you managed to follow the main events without being predictable!!! In contrast with Rick's ending which at certain point you know what's gonna happen (and because he decided to rush it)
Also, your fights panels are really conceptually creative and I find the blunt jokes funny xd

Thanks. There are some smaller, mostly horny ideas relating to it I've still got but I'm working on something original for my next major project once I'm done with commissions.

Haha it's definitely more chaotic, I didn't give it much of a plot so much as it was just a sequence of events surrounding Thanksgiving night. Action was a big thing I wanted to practice with it so I'm glad people liked it.

I really wasn't a fan of where the main comic went in the end either, or really the direction it'd been going in for years, pretty much every outcome had me tearing hairs out and I only went back to actively following because it was the "final" arc and Rick said he planned it instead of writing page by page.

if you ever get the time and want to see rick's prime storytelling, read his sci-fi novels, they can get really dark and gory despite their look

Your area shot of Babylon Gardens makes more sense than Rick's final panel of it. Something about how all the houses were arranged just rubbed me the wrong way like there wasn't any logic or planning put into making the houses. Plus it looked like the forest took over like it was just supposed to be some town in the middle of nowhere while also being a short drive away from a major city with skyscrapers.

Mine isn't much planned either, I just had the equivalent of a napkin sketch for what it looked like and added to it every time a new area was seen in the background. Though I used to live near a major city and it was very forested, a 10-20 minute drive changes a lot.
It's more of an inside joke that's only funny in my own head, but I think of it as a mishmash because the Miltons have way too much money and power so they start building shit in weird places.
"Ugh our offices are a half hour drive? Fuck it build some like right over there. I don't care if it's right next to a bunch of homes just do it."

I thought he was going to continue Housepets!, but was going to rebrand it to Housepets Worlds or something like that?

Was hoping Jata and Miles could escape back to SA and be together more. Guess they were just fodder.

It will be an original idea, once I'm done commissions.
I think it was the final arc of the main plot or whatever, I'm not planning on following it anyways.

You mean Jata and DV? I have a small epilogue page I'm sketching with them that's more romantic, nothing big but it's something.
They kinda were fodder, everyone was.

Not really, but they're still kids at least in an emotional sense though so I'm hesitant to treat them harshly especially when their assholery is targeted completely at Kitsune.
None of them are permanently mortal, what he said was that they all got a permanent demotion of godly status from demi(god) to lower(god). The mortal lifetime is only until they die of natural causes.
