I went overboard on the background, lol, but it was for a good reason!
I am a small fan of the Star Fox series, and the first game on the Super NES was where I started to follow the series (I was young at the time, but my father eventually handed the system over to me when I was able to understand how to play with it).
It was one of the games I was able to finish through, loved going back in and completing the missions in random order, enjoying the designs and levels, seeing the cool anthro characters, the simple gameplay, and the music. The point is I loved this game so much. In fact, every time I'm reminded of this game the background from Sector Y always popped into my head. I cannot explain why or what I feel about it, I can only say it is one of the few things I can only remember in my childhood that was memorable... and one I can still remember, lol. So, I did my best to replicate it but not too much to draw away focus on Fox's concepts.
Now about these sketches... I decided if I'm gonna jump on the fandom/shipping bandwagon and making WolfxFox smut, thought it'd be best to create a design I can work with. I decided to go for a cartoony style like I did with Bowser, it seemed more appropriate for these kind of characters. I was also gonna use his original outfit design from the first game, but decided to catch up with the series by using the new outfit design he's been sporting in Star Fox Zero (also read about a CGI movie being considered?). Hope you guys like it!
