In the world Jay and Gardener live in, about 30% of the world has a gene for "vore", or being able to stretch and control your digestive tract to consume another animal whole. Because of the risks, vore is considered a government regulated action, anyone with the vore gene is considered a "pred" and go to mandatory classes to learn how to control their bodies, regurgitate, halt their digestion, and learn to be safe preds. About 20% of the population that has the vore gene also has a gene that let's them reform, and since only a fifth of the third of the population that can vore can reform, digestion is considered illegal, and a similar consequence as murder to digest anyone that can't reform. For those who can reform, it's a consent law. Vore in general is consent based as well, and can hold consequences similar to r*pe when a prey is unwillingly vored.

When mandatory predator classes are complete, based on how well a pred did in that class, they are given a license with a level 1 through 5. 1 being the safest of preds, and 5 being criminalistic, cerial digesting predators.

Jay Trite, a German Shepherd-Husky mix breed, has a special and rare ability to feel the entirety of his digestive tract, meaning he has complete and utter control over every step of the digestive process and can pinpoint where anything is inside of him at all times. Because of this, he was deemed a level 1 pred after passing the classes with flying colors. Because of his excellent level of predator safety, he is allowed to dorm with prey during his duration at a University campus, He has chosen to dorm with best friend since birth, Gardener, a cheery rabbit who can always be found close to the dog. Gardener is a very rare case, as he has the gene for reformation, but not the gene for vore, which is almost always in tandem with each other. Because of his reformation gene, he had to take predator classes as well, even without the ability to vore, and hence has control of his body as well, just without the ability to eat others.

Jay is very protective of Gardener, and commonly swallows the only 2ft tall rabbit as a mode of transportation so he can make sure Gardener isn't plucked off the street by a more unforgiving pred and made into a quick meal. Because of Gardener's size this is easy for Jay, as he conceals the belly Gardener gives him in a large, baggy hoodie he wears. This is a well known fact among friends and classmates, as Jay is seen regurgitating Gardener in the bathrooms along their college campus, or holding the rabbit in his throat, letting Gardener see out of the back of his throat if he doesn't want out of Jay's body.

Sometimes, Jay likes to change it up, and put Gardener in a different hole. They don't do it often, but every now and then, Jay uses Gardener as a buttplug, and carries the rabbit around in his colon rather than his stomach, smushing the bunny into his glutes every time he sits down, rolling Gardner's head between his cheeks at every step when he walks, and the satisfying feeling of letting two feet of rabbit slide out of his ass makes this Jay's favorite way to transport his belly friend around~.
