This week’s fun animal fact: the hairy frog (also called the Wolverine frog) is a species of frog found in central Africa which gets its name the “Wolverine frog” from its unique predator deterring method. When threatened (usually by being attacked or grabbed), it will break the bones of its toes and push the sharp bones through its skin to become “claws” which they use to scratch predators. It is believed that the bones slowly retract back into the body over time and somehow, the broken bones can heal and take about 3 months to do so.

Not and absolutely not fun animal fact: Lion had a habit to eat it male preys testicle, I’m not kidding lions like to eat it prey (only male preys btw) BALLS because for lion it tasty and highly nutritious, you can see it on media and youtube but if you a guy please don’t watch it if you don’t want be traumatized

On that topic, did you know that elephants had to evolve internal testicles because predators would often dash underneath and have a quick snack?

Thanks for clarifying they only eat male preys testicles, I was worried they would eat the female preys balls too.
