Description
Not gonna lie, I fell in love with this portrait the moment I saw it in my very first Stellaris session.
Although nearly identical to the original, there are quite a few anatomical differences in the head, neck and upper body, making the front softer and the body more flexible overall.
Nature did not bestow them with a thumb; instead, their internal palm structure allows for a slightly wider spread of the fingers as well as pivoting them, transforming the hand into a claw for excellent pinching action (patent pending).
In this iteration they are bipedal, using their slender, flat tail for balancing purposes. Towering at around 300 cm (9'10), this specimen is slightly taller than the average. Even though seemingly intimidating, he has a soft side. Surely he is good at giving big hugs with all those arms!
With time, more will be revealed about him. All I can say is that sometimes looks may be deceiving~
Rest assured, you'll see more of this guy in the future!
Many thanks to ket-dawnatsunset for patiently making this reference of my boy a reality!

MemberThe Stellaris artists were cooking with quite a few of the portraits, i'm genuinely surprised at how few images there are of them on here.

MemberMy brother's friend made a Devouring Swarm empire with this portrait, and called it Dragons.
He was evil like that.
