News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

Jan 7th: Small update to the Uploading Guidelines today: We now no longer allow paintovers of AI generated content. Or in other words AI generated content that has been edited to some degree by humans.

    There are new pages available now. I dunno when or if I'll be able to post them. I no longer have Unlimited Browsing Data on my phone and these pages are bigger then most. Someone else will most likely have to start uploading pages for this comic.

    Absolutely no rush if you're busy or unable to post because of tech troubles. Hopefully it works out for you. You should also inform your following if you intend to have someone else post future pages.

    I might be able to upload a page or 2 on Wednesday, no promises though. I'll be at my moms helping her out and she has good wifi. I'm there to help her out first and foremost.

    I don't even know if I have a following or even how to inform them if I do. I've been here awhile yet there's still so much about e621 that I don't understand.

    But, of course, family always comes first. Work only when you're able. Though my advice would be to simply use the description of a random post to say something important the community needs to know about your activities and let the following read it and respond.
    That being said, I am not an artist, nor am I tech savvy enough to know if this is a good way of communication between artist and fans. Also, you, of course, can have your own methods. This is just my take.
