Am I the only one who thinks this is very stupid?

    Yup!
That being said, you are on a furry porn site, voluntarily looking at transformations. You're hardly objective.

If you want that right, consider why something is stupid and tell us that instead of just insulting the tastes of the audience.

c'mon man, this is the dumbest way to get transformed i've ever seen, but i respect all the people who like it

What's so dumb about it? Not calling you out, I'm just curious to know what someone not involved in the TF scene thinks.

  • you get wet, then you get transformed into a fennekin? if it had been an espeon, for example, with some kind of psychic attack still would understand. but I find this argument too forced for me. just a way to show a vaporeon in the comic

That's about what I expected. While I usually commission TF pieces resulting in two Pokemon of the same type (especially when the triggers for the changes are like this), I personally don't see in situations like these as particularly dumb. If you can suspend your disbelief long enough to accept that a human being can be changed into a Pokemon (of the opposite sex, nonetheless), you might as well assume that it's a result of magic or science - both things that can be controlled.

With that in mind, while a Vaporeon changing a human being into a Fire-type via water probably isn't the most fitting trigger or transformation, if you're willing to accept the idea that a Pokemon can possess transformative capabilities in the first place, why is it suddenly dumb when the person who was transformed doesn't have a type to match the other Pokemon's?

That aside, the person in this comic was changed into a Fire-type fox-based Pokemon, by hot water from another fox-based Pokemon. When put that way, do you still think the premise is dumb? Assuming the hot water is your choice of magical/scientific/supernatural/etc., of course.

  • depends on how you want to see it. for me, the argument is still too forced, but your point is well reasoned and acceptable. each one with their tastes.

Fair enough. Maybe I'm just too jaded from being in the scene so long, haha. To each their own.

Forgive me, in the above post, "if you want that right" should be " if you want the right to criticize". sorry.

  • Scald = burn
    Burn = fire
    Water triggered fire through burn.
My idea has something to do with "getting wet" as to why the trainer became a male fire type. Just an idea.

  • My god, If this was canon in the pokemon universe (anime and such)
I would probably NEVER want pokemon.

Imagine your magikarp thinking you look kinda thicc one day and then turns you into a fuckng feebas.
Or even worse, you get turned into a weedle by a bug pokemon

    Fuck that so hard.
