Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

Mild-Mannered Marie is... Spacemoo Betty!

So, I'm gonna gush a bit about this character before the snippet, rather than after. I'm going to say it here: check out LillyVaine, who did the art and came up with the character concept. She's a wonderful artist, and could use the love. There's a wonderful theme with this character, and it is absolutely charming and spot-on as well! I absolutely adore her, and I hope that you guys will too. She's a lot of fun, I love the atompunk aesthetic, and I can think of a lot of fun things to do~

Marie is a rather friendly, if mild-mannered cow. Chipper, polite, and chatty, she quite enjoys baking, long walks around the neighborhood, and catching up with the neighbors! When she can, she helps out around Sundae's shop, sMOOthie, and enjoys her evenings with the same very lovely, if exotic, cow~ However, some people have noticed that she tends to disappear, especially when trouble's brewing! Where did Marie go?

In other news, a new hero's sweeping across the planet... Nay, the galaxy! It's neither a bird nor a plane, but she's sweeter than cream: Spacemoo Betty! Showing off a plethora of state-of-the-art MooTech ™ gear, Spacemoo Betty is a hero to the people, fighting back the forces of evil with her ray gun, kindness, and cookies! For those interested, her adventures have been serialized into comic form (including such favorites as "Case of the Cranky Crocs," and "Tales of the Tactile Tentacles," teased above), and are to be coming to your living room soon!

Again, I think this is a wonderful character with spot-on theming, and I absolutely adore the entire package. I hope you guys will like her, too~
