Retrospective:
Color, shading and lighting was bit difficult, though I am not surprised since the only practice with that has been with the pieces I've put up on FA so far. My hope is that as time progresses, I will get better at it, probably read up on color theory and lighting.
I am happy with how the faces turned out, much better than I had hope, but I have had a explicit focus on drawing faces for a while. The bodies interacting is slighty better? It could be much better, and I am thinking about creating a physical model to play with, so that I can get a better understanding on perspective.
The cloaca is alright, it went a lot easier drawing it, but I can see the issue on the left side of it.
I tried a different method of approaching scale patterns, since I saw someone else do it and I really liked it. Comparing this with the previous, I am honestly leaning towards the former in some aspects, but at the same time, this one is nice. I give it another go and see where it takes me!
