I hope this is thier relationship in the show

HOW DARE YOU STELLA, octavia is a precious birb and must be protected at all costs. Oh my Satan, stella is a bitch.

I hope this isn't how their relationship will be portrayed in the show. For the love of God, Viv, please give us a loving daughter-mother relationship between these two. Or at minimum, a couple wholesome moments between them.

One of the worse things on Earth or in Hell is when a parent doesn't love their child

I'm hoping for them to have a kind of strained but not hurtful relationship. We know externally that Stella is a bad person, but it'd do more for the concept that Octavia only sees her as maybe a slightly dismissive but altogether caring parent. It'd make her dad's actions seem (to her) to be a lot less forgivable. Like, yeah Stella's a little distant and cold, but she's never done anything to hurt him so why are they so messed up?

But there isn't a single bad mom in the hellaverse. All of the Moms in the hellaverse are good.
