The job sounded simple enough to the Berserk gang — get in, take the prototype tachyonic device with unpronouncable name, get out. It wasn't even too heavily guarded, as it was kept in office safe with security on the level of typical rent-a-cop squad.
However, when three of the boys drove to the building, it was already on fire. And a very suspicious kobold girl, armed to the teeth, calmly marched out and got on her bike.
Quick scan showed that specific radiation comes from her direction which meant one thing — they were outpaced with this task and paycheck just waved them goodbye with a cloud of dust from her speeding away.
Well! This merc can have a small headstart, but the boys won't give up easy!

Proxana weaved and dodged through hails of energy bolts these goons so generously sent her way. The easy job became hard very quickly. She pulled her SMB and using uncanny flexibility of her cyberlimbs shot back, making the dude in armored hovervan move around. A green bolt of the biker guy sparked on her vehicle but reinforced plating held still.
"Oh fuck!" she thought when the big guy pukked out a motherfucking missile launcher.
Proxana quickly formed a plan and knowing that if she gain distance, warhead of the missiles will be able lock-on, dooming her, broke out a bootleg turn, letting unguided (yet) missiles safely fly above. and detonate ahead.
Unknown fighters were closing in and the big one began to smile disturbingly wide, pressing trigger button again.
Procana continued firing, making sure he won't be able to really aim.
It was almost time for the next step of her plan.
