and if you think about it, humanity lived the same way, more or less, for 2000-10000 years, with only mild growth.
Most people were farmers.
We used spears, bows and swords.
Food was our number one concern.
Hell, we didnt use iron until 2/3s into the age of human civilization.
And then suddenly, in the span of 100-200 years, we explode. Literal and figuratively. That's only 1/10th at best to 1/100th at worst of human civilization's existance
And only about 50-80 years ago, we enter the age where we are actually fully in control of our world and destiny.
and even with all that, it's been just 60 years since the internet started, and instant communication and information access became a thing.
The age that allows us to connect, learn and commune with any culture, place and person, is only 1-2 generations old.
Yet everything in today's day and age revolves around information, knowledge and education.
Imagine how jarring ths must feel to a creature that existed for hundreds or thousands of years, hiding among us, because we pushed it out of it's natural habitat and home.
The humans, the culture, the civilization it got used to for hundreds of years, is literally in the blink of an eye, different.
It's like we live our lives, until in the last 1-5 years of our lives, we're suddenly catapulted into the age of starwars/startreck.

MemberInteresting. The fandom finally found this. Thing is, he is not a furry. He's a Spirit Wolf. Or a Spirit Animal from ancient Asian lore. it's sort of the same story as Wolf Children, just spun a little different. It does a lot of backstory all the time. Some watching are getting it. But many are not getting it at all. I had to watch it a few times to pick up on the backstory, and humor. I have still missed a lot I'm sure. And then there is the tear jerking sadness in there too. Lastly, I don't know who made this. My translator says it's in Japanese. I don't speak Japanese and I have only very limited knowledge of Eastern literature. Just to ask a question. Do you know or have an idea what happened to his father? I don't even know what the main character's name is. >.<
