Bio: Abelinda is a Marshadow and Whimsicott hybrid, though she is still more Marshadow. She is very tall for a Marshadow or Whimsicott, and is insanely strong, able to lift boulders or kick pillars over with little effort. She has massive hair reminiscent of a Whimsicott, and fluff on her arms, around her neck and on the back of her stubby feet, that trail off into a lingering shadow. She has deep green eyes and yellow pupils.

Her fluff around her neck can expand with the move Cotton Guard, and using Growth, she can grow a little bit taller too (1ft max extra).

Her face is pretty emotionless, only changing VERY rarely. Even when she’s happy, or in pain, her face may not change. Abelinda also doesn’t speak. At most she will use gestures to respond, or only use one word replies such as; “Cool,” “Above,” “Down,” “No,” “Tree,” etc. Sometimes she may say up to THREE words! But only a few Pokemon have heard that.

Her Zenith mode is rather interesting too. Her hair has a strange pattern that glows when in this form. Her battle capabilities increase tenfold. Unlike Marax who almost refuses to use Zenith mode, Abelinda is frequently seen swapping in and out of it, even for non-fighting means.

Story: Abelinda is a travelling Marshadow, always on the go. She’s been seen in many regions, many forests and towns, and especially ruins. You may see her watching you from afar in the shadows, the only thing you’ll notice is her green, glowing eyes. Despite what may seem as an antisocial or shy act when hiding from afar, she’s actually quite comfortable around others. She’s always curious how others are living their lives, or activities or food she is unaware of. She may just appear next to you and ask for information- as best she can with how little she speaks.

She ends up hanging around the Fayre region quite often, taking an interest in the ruins and the Diamond Domain, especially the springs at the back of it. She befriends Dianbink and Himemi quite easily, being one of Himemi’s main buds to keep her company in the ruins.

Abelinda has assisted the town in fending off many threats, including the infamous Marax, being one of the few able to hold him off equally.

During her travels however, she’s sometimes seen with another Marshadow, Yin. They mostly buddy up after both having fought with Marax. Abelinda does vanish from time to time though, suddenly leaving Yin’s side and making her feel quite lonely… but she always comes back with a gift.

What are Abelinda’s dreams for this world? …None know. She’s never answered, she seems unsure herself. Just looking for the next most interesting thing.

Relationships:

. Yin- Her main travelling buddy for most of her adventures. They met after Marax attacked the Fayre region town where Dianbink resides. While Abelinda has no personal qualms with Marax, she seems willing to assist Yin in tracking him down. Yin may have a light crush on Abelinda- Abby is aware of this, seeming indifferent.

. Dianbink- One of the first Pokemon she met in the Fayre region town. She stalked him from the shadows for two whole nights… eventually approaching him fully. It took a while for Dianbink to get around her quietness, but they get along well enough. Though she scares him frequently unintentionally.

. Diami- The Diancie Princess next in line for the Diamond Domain. Abelinda is indifferent to her, and Diami doesn’t seem to like her that much.

. Himemi- Abelinda befriends Himemi pretty quickly. While Hime hides in the ruins, being the only place big enough for the Celesteela to take home in, Abby will visit and stay with her frequently so she’s not alone. Supposedly Abelinda opens up the most to Hime, having spoken a lot more to her. Abby also likes to test her strength lifting Hime’s arm rockets up…

. Lyssa- This 10ft Gourgeist really likes Abelinda- Abby however doesn’t enjoy how much Lyssa invades her personal space. She’s just a very huggy Gourgeist…! Abelinda can lift Lyssa with ease…

. The Carbink Elders- These Elders throw a lot of hate towards Dianbink, and Abby doesn’t stand for it. While Himemi was enough to scare the Elders into place, Abelinda WILL yeet them across the town just to prove a point.

. Lorette- Abelinda finds Lorette to be very, very cute. Lorette is a little intimidated by her though… Abelinda wants to befriend her.

. Team Ore- She’s sometimes seen with Jerry and Walnut, finding their antics amusing. Walnut enjoys being tossed around like a ball by her (He’s a Forretress lmao)

. Team Tera- Tabitha the Tinkatuff practices fighting with Abelinda, as unlike the Falinks and Pawniards/ Bisharps in the town, Abelinda is a much more challenging training session. Not quite friends despite this… but Abby is always willing to lend a hand. She also finds Gelli cute, protect at all costs.

. Catéline Ornella- A Hatterene/ Comfey hybrid pokemon. Being another hybrid, the two are very curious in each other, though their actual relationship is unknown. Abelinda visits the library every so often to see her. At least she’s quiet…
