Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

Description

What better to do than take a walk in the park with man’s best friend? It’s a lovely day out, not too cold, not too hot either. Perfect weather to throw on some gym shorts and make the most of the day. Our resident bunny, Blessing, took up the opportunity on a rare day off to do a whole lot of nothing in particular. She asked Chief if he wanted to come with her to the park, naturally being enthused at the idea from the start. Adorned in his favorite yellow collar and leash, the two strutted out for the day. On their adventure into the wild world of the “outside”, many outgoers, friends and strangers alike, greeted the English Lop and her German Shepherd and sent the two on their way. Few took notice of her largely bloated midsection, most assuming she was either pregnant or still holding on to a bit of Thanksgiving weight. Nothing out of the ordinary about that, right?

While on their trip back home, the pair were again greeted by a friendly passerby. “Oh my gosh is that your dog? He's such a cutie!” An innocent, unassuming young bluebird grew a smile on her face upon encountering Blessing and her friendly little guy. The two women easily struck up a casual conversation, using Chief as an icebreaker of sorts. “Hehe, isn't he? He might not look like it, but he can get pretty feisty.” Blessing subtly alludes to Chief’s occasional rough housing, albeit not in the way most would assume. The cheery bluebird pats the German Shepherd on the head, rubbing his ears back and forth. At first sight, Chief didn’t look like he would hurt a fly. He’s smart, playful, and quite friendly to be around. “Oh really? I bet he's a gentle good boy!” Trying not to back herself into a verbal corner, Blessing stutters a bit before moving on with the conversation, “Ehehehe...wellll...” She thinks back to just a couple of minutes prior to their meeting with the curious bird, hiding away in the bushes, out of sight and out of mind, committing such lewd acts that none should dare see! If I didn’t know any better, I would reckon her obviously inflated belly was due to a completely, well, “different” reason altogether…
