News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

    But... Knowing Andy, he'll show up without warning. The author likes to add drama. (It's not always bad, but this time it could destroy Cooper) Or maybe they'll have sex.)

    I wouldn't say it's running in circles. Andy is grappling with a lot of serious anxiety when it comes to Cooper, and he's making progress. He asked Chelsea for advice and she gave it to him. I don't think he'll go to opening night, but if he does it'll be because someone else invited him, i.e River or maybe Emery.

    He might still panic and not tell Cooper at that point, but I can think of lots of things that would stop him from telling Cooper, biggest one being the dread that that ISN'T Cooper and then he gets pissed that Andy thought it was.

    Andy can't stand River, though, so I'm betting that he might freak out for seeing Cooper working alongside them.

    (By the way, I find Andy's one-sided beef with River really funny, and it's cool how it parallels Cooper's disdain for Emery)

    You got a point, this could either lead to

    bad outcome
    Coop is gaining confidence, getting in the grove with river, probably on the main stage, ... And then he seep and and confidence is destroyed. He might get in trouble for making his boss look bad etc

    good outcome
    Kinda like the bad outcome, but coop sees Andy and has a slight freeze up while river reaches out or something to continue their "act" coop will swallow his anxiety and continue, gaining confidence, and being more accepting of himself, and it leads to a talk with Andy about him accepting himself.
