Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

[I'm six years into this series. I only created 11 chapters, and the story hasn't gone anywhere. My enthusiasm for this project has long since depleted, which is why I decided to shelve it earlier this year. I know many people love this series and the characters, and I appreciate you all for supporting me in this development. If I ever return to the series, I might do a reboot or something. Though to be honest, I really don't want to keep forcing myself to stay excited about such an old project. I love my Dandy characters, and I intend to keep drawing them of course, but as of this year, I think The Dandy Demon as I know it isn't something I want to keep doing. What used to feel like breathing life into a story now feels like CPR, and I can't look at this series without feeling a little frustrated. And it sucks to say this, considering there are so many questions left unanswered in the story. I didn't exactly leave the story with any answers.
I don't know what the future holds for this series. Maybe I'll start over. Maybe I'll find love for it again and continue where we left off. Either way, I'd rather just move forward with new ideas, branch out from my flagship titles, and make stuff that I'm actually pumped for!]

MemberDang, I at least hope he keeps Sue around for art. She is both sexy and adorable. You could take a nap in her hair. Maybe some more individual character stories could be good like with that Sue video comic.

While I am saddened to see the story of the characters fizzle out, we'll still get art of them now and again.
I understand how that love of something just burns, dies, and turns into dread. Like when a hyperfixation ends; as much as you try to get that energy back for what it was, it is laboured, painful, and never the same.
