Rhinoceroses are too, but you don't see any of them slinking by without an overweight tag. Probably because most of them are depicted as being muscular/bulky.

"Rhino" is Greek for "nose", as in rhinoceros — "nose horn". Hippo is Greek for "horse", as in hippopotamus — "horse (of the) river".
