  • He is a big cop.

    A buff cop.

    A cop who uses a break-open, single-shot shotgun?

    WTF?

    Nonetheless, very nice detail!

He only needs one round. If he needs more, well, he's buff, and makes due with just one.

I cant even tell if that's a shotgun or a sniper rifle

You will not see a rifle with a vent rib barrel. Anywhere.
This is a single shot shotgun, like an H&R / NEF (New England Firearms, who unfortunately are stopping production).

I own a Remington 870 sporting a smoothbore 20" barrel, topped with a Bushnell 1.75-4X Trophy XLT scope.

Many a hunter, in many a state use shotguns with riflescopes for hunting, or long-range target practice with slugs.

In fact, H&R (aka NEF, or New England Firearms) sell a model of break-action 12 gauge shotgun nearly identical to the one in this image called the 'Ultra Slug Hunter' that comes with a factory-installed optic.

... but of course, I doubt that was your point ...
