Yawn

Syandene enjoying one of those lazy, pantless days. I'm pretty sure that's just about every day for her, but that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy each and every one of 'em!

I'm getting back into practice stuff now, and I decided to start with what I feel one of my weaker areas is- backgrounds. Specifically the indoor type. All those straight lines and perspective, I really kind of hate doing it, which means it's time to force myself to do it a bunch until it becomes easier!

I've studied perspective a bit before, but I don't think the super technical side of it is for me... in order to really do it properly it seems like you need huge amounts of space and geometry and shit. I don't have that kind of patience, so I think instead I'll focus on using a few shortcuts and faking the rest of it. It won't necessarily be perfect, but it doesn't have to be... I'm a porn artist, not an architect.

To that end, I'm going to be doing some simple sketches of indoor scenes, buildings, and all kinds of man-made stuffs in an attempt to get a decent feel for how to use perspective in a picture without everything getting all fucky. Sorry guys- I'd love to get back to colour work, but this is where I really need to study so expect some more sketches for a bit. :P

I used this photo as a reference for the background. As always I didn't try to copy it exactly but used it as a guide. I don't mind if things come out differently, as long as they're more or less internally reasonable. I then added something with tits to make the whole scene more interesting. Syandene seemed like a good choice. I also decided to swap out the contents of the table because... c'mon, this is Sy! Though the whip probably could have stayed...

Anyway, expect more like this for a little while.
