Silly rodent, that's not going to fit!

Another picture from the dorkily named Repository of Cool Critters , as suggested by katethemarten . Just in case they don't approve of such shenanigans, I feel I should note that only the species was suggested by them, the situation was all me.

I'm fairly happy with how the lady turned out, colouring wise... a few issues but pretty happy with it. What I'm not so happy with is the background- I've got to find a simple way of filling in non-specific backgrounds around characters, but I've got literally no ideas. The flat washes I've been doing just aren't working for me! I'll have to look around and see if I can come up with any ideas...

Anywho, another playaround painting. Fairly happy with the methods I've got going now as far as painting characters, so I guess it's time to go back to studying drawing for a bit... if I can resist. I've been having a lot of fun doing these little porny paintings so there may very well be more to come. But if you don't see anything for a bit it's because I'm being a good artist and actually learning things. Wish me luck. x3
