    Not even counting the real life komodo dragon is a reptile, the term "dragon" comes from the latin word draconem, meaning large serpent (and back in the day it meant any huge serpent. A boa constrictor would be the shining example of a dragon. In fact, dragons having legs wasn't really a thing until the middle ages). Serpents are reptiles. Mythologically speaking as well, the creatures that we call "dragons" are all deemed that due to reptilian features (the scales on the more lion-like chinese dragon, etc)
