You do realise that BDUs aren't armour, right?! Normal solder pants don't offer any protection, except against bruises. However cheetahs already have fur that serves to protect from bruising better than any silly bit of fabric. (also they have catlike agility to prevent falls in the first place) They really don't need pants and I suspect anything less elastic than spandex or lycra would only hinder them. Of course they need to wear _something_ since showing up on a muster only in your panties would be incredibly improper.
