Gloves and Stockings
A while back I briefly lost my mechanical pencil, the one I do most of my drawing with. I found it shortly after but in the meantime I picked up a basic wooden HB pencil and used that for a bit- and immediately fell in love. I don't think I ever realized how much harder drawing with a mechanical pencil was, but it's so much easier to avoid scratchiness and make things look smoother. I enjoyed it enough that shortly after I went out and bought a little pencil drawing set!
Visually, for you guys won't look much different, but it feels quite a bit nicer to draw with an actual pencil. Nice enough that I wanted to do an actual cleaned up pencil doodle for the first time in a while! Have some Syandene almost in clothing, sorta. But not really.
