Grovyle the Thief is a character from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers. He is given the suffix because in the early game he is found out to be the one stealing artifacts known as the Time Gears. Like all Pokémon in the Mystery Dungeon games that aren't part of the protagonist's Team, he is simply named after his species.

While he looks identical to others of his species, his main defining characteristic is a brown satchel he carries with him. He is also occasionally depicted with a bandana.
