When a character's head is disproportionately large, typically larger than their upper torso. A common feature of chibi artwork.

For fully grown adults, the head is usually 1/7th or 1/8th of their total height. This tag is for heads bigger than this, like 1/6th or more of the height. See also the extreme version huge head for 1/3rd or more of the height.

Very short characters will often have big heads to emphasize their shortness. This is the inverse of giant characters having a small head or tiny head.
